Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex announced plans today to host one of their popular Try Hockey For Free events on March 3rd from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
This event is part of USA Hockey's Nationwide 'Try Hockey For Free Day', and takes place at their 170,000 square foot multi-sport facility, located on the Monroe Community College campus. It is designed for children ages 4 to 9 to try ice hockey at no cost, in a positive environment focused on having fun. Participants are provided full equipment and skates at no cost, and take to the ice for jam-packed, memorable experience. This event is being run in partnership with Rochester Youth Hockey, with on-ice instruction bring provided by some of their coaches and players, along with the Iceplex Hockey staff. No skating or hockey experience is required, however re-registration is required for all participants as space is limited.
