As a next step for figure skaters that have successfully completed the Figure Skating 101 program, this program takes participants with a desire to move into higher levels of skating (test sessions, show skating and competitions). It creates a platform for skaters to learn elements of freestyle skating (jumping and spinning), ice dancing and style within the sport. Our world class instructional staff not only has experience skating at these higher levels, but also have a passion for teaching their craft to new skaters.
As part of this program, each participant receives an annual membership with the United States Figure Skating Association's "Learn to Skate USA" program. This membership includes a subscription to Learn To Skate USA The Magazine, a record book to track each skaters improvement, secondary sport accident insurance, and the opportunity to participate in lessons, performances, competitions, and all activities associated with Learn to Skate USA. Skaters in Figure Skating 201 must have completed USFSA Learn to Skate USA's levels Basic 1-6, which are achieved in the Skating 101 and Figure Skating 101 programs.
